Forums - Politics Discussion - Does Trump have any real chance of winning

If I was a betting man I would say absolutely. As a Libertarian, I'm not a fan of Trump (or Clinton) but I am fairly confident that he will be the next President.

Momentum is on his side and there are still alot of people who will not admit that they are voting for him. The Clinton scandals we've seen with the corrupted foundation, emails and Bernie Sanders DNC screwjob will pale in comparison to what Drudge, Infowars and Julian Assange will release next month.

I can see it being a landslide for Trump. Similar in retrospect of the 88' elections.

The only way she wins this is if they can manage to rig the voting machines.

Yeah, her numbers collapsed after she did on 9/11.

Can she even make it to the election? the woman has serious health issues.

Lets see if she can even make it through the debate without some weird health episode.

She's done.Totally done.

Right now Clinton is still the favorite based on electoral map, but the gap has shrunk significantly from a month ago.

Florida and Ohio going Trump sets him up as a possible winner needing only a Colorado or Virginia to win. I think the debates will determine the winner with the first one being Monday.

At the moment, yes, he has a real chance. However, their respective performance at the 3 debates will seal the deal one way or the other. If Trump implodes during the debates and proves to voters that he's completely unqualified based on foreign policy knowledge, etc. then I think the pendulum swings far in Clinton's favor. If he holds his own against Hillary in the debates, or she performs poorly, then Trump's odds improve greatly.

Unfortunately, when you get right down to it this entire election is really a test to see just how ignorant, hateful, gullible, and racist our country has really become. A ton of closet racists have been emboldened and vocal thanks to their "tell it like it is" (i.e. spouts their racist views) candidate.

I feel like with the more recent events going on the States that people are more leaning towards his words, thus having a good chance of winning.

Of course there is a chance that he will win, altough it's rather unlikely.

Is there not 4 to choose from, Trump, Clinton Stein and Johnson.

It's possible, but I don't think it will happen. Even if he does become POTUS, he'd likely be assassinated before his first term was over.

Yes, it's not like people are forced to vote for Trump or Clinton.
