If Microsoft wants to exist "without" generations they certainly can't have 6+Tflops all going towards resolution



I don't even expect PS5 to have 4k as a standard.

Well they are being asked these questions.  Are they actually giving out interviews or are people actively seeking interviews with them.

I expect the PS5 to be atleast twice of what the PS4 pro is.

By 2020, hopefully thats possible at 399$.

Which will be 4k standart imo, also by then many many more people will have 4k tv's.

PS5 will be at least 3x the strength of Pro. Rendering PS4 level graphics at 4k will be no issue, PS4 level graphics being the key term. Lots of PS5's raw specs will go towards better lighting, texture, model complexity etc, 4k will not be the prority for devs, just as 1080p wasn't for PS3/360 (and still for most Xbox One games and a few PS4 titles)

 



Except that the PS4pro will have 4K native games and the difference between GPU checkerboard upscaling and native 4K won't be of any significance and even less noticeable than 720p compared to 1080p. The best MS can do is put 'we have more 4K games' in their adverts.

They've done quite a few tweets, dont think that was people asking them questions :D

Good. Well, won't affect me since I don't like Microsoft anyway, but if I was interested in Xbox (personally), this would be good news for me. To me, 4k doesn't seem like the best way to use resources.

Wasn't there discussion after discussion about the difference between 900p and 1080P where the fanboys get to crown their champinion.  This will be no different.  We will see DF articles that show a softer image on the PS4Pro while the Scorpio will have a sharper image like we see to day with the PS4 and X1 and the world will continue wih the same debates but now PS gamers playing damage control and XB acting superior.
