A bit of a Persona fanboy here haha |
I think despite amazing sales and the eventually 1 million plus overall(world wide), majority of the owners of the game might have got PS4/PS3 for other games before it.

It`s also possible there are a few that are holding out on the FFXV limited edition console as well. |
True as well, like I said good sales, not great for ps4, and the effects have yet to be seen (for example Final Fantasy XV launch). Persona sales are great, even if I expected just a slight bit more, due to the I expected a slight bit more from the slim.
Huge success for Persona 5, glad to see this! (and glad to be a part of it with the awesome LE)

3 weeks of shortages = 60k sales lost This week sales without the slim or the persona effect would've been 20k too So effectively, 4 weeks of sales = 80k I know delayed sales aren't guaranteed sales, but still, the number is disappointing in my opinion, but I think I expected too much from Japan. NX will give us the final clear picture about traditional video games sales there. |
Well, if the NX is a hybrid handheld (like everything points to) it should of course do good in Japan. Japan loves their handheld gaming. PS2 is the only home console in the top 5 best selling consoles in Japan. The rest are handhelds.
It should tell you something when PS4 is the 2nd fastest selling home console ever worldwide and yet the "failed" Vita still has a 2 mill lead over it in Japan.

Which makes it really impressive world wide, doesn't it. I will never take away that accomplishment.

PS4 Winning Eleven 2016 - 39,017
PS3 Winning Eleven 2016 - 48,473
Combined 2016 - 87,490
Combined 2017- 100,539
Let's hope Fifa is up this year too.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

338k for Persona 5.
96k+ PS4.
Not bad :)

By week 2 it probably will :p
PS3 & PS4 versions next week will be over 162k combined I think, so yes.
And thats just physical copies of sales, I belive so... yeah it should go over 500k in japan easily.
So ~340k for Persona 5 retail. With a 15% digital ratio that would put it at 390k. A debut of almost 400k. Incredible growth for the series.
Ps4 sales excellent. going to pass out the Wii U in 2/3 weeks. And we still have the FFXV limited edition slim, ps4 neo and FFXV launch week boosts to come. 2016 sales will be awesome.
Gta V legs on ps4 are awesome. And the witcher 3 doing great too. BEASTERIA also impressive.

Wow impressive growth for the series especially on ps4. I expect fifa to be up by a lot too. It's trending really well on amazon. Football is showing a resurgence on ps4. Great to see.
