Forums - PC Discussion - Gears Of War 4 Free With Purchase Of GTX 1080/1070

Blah I just got my 1070 like three weeks ago.

That is probably the most wonkey specs chart I have ever seen. It legit, tells me nothing.

Awesome stuff though, the new Gears looks pretty good visually.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

europe also?

Yeah, I waited for a good game bundle!

Now I have to decide between GTX1070 and 1080 and which model.

I could be wrong, but I think minimum is 1080p low settings, recommended is 1440p high settings, and ideal is 4K ultra settings, based on the settings charts for Microsoft's other recent games on PC.

Yea but what does high and ultra settings mean?

Can't I play Ultra settings at 1080p with a 970? Or does it mean that it uses 4k textures? Who the tits came up with charts like this? :/

This is a good strategy to get avid gamers using the WIndows 10 Store.

MS should get all their games bundled with high end video cards, Forza Horizon 3 included.

Microsoft taking the pc space very seriously it seems. Big game to bundle.

I'll be going for a 1080 next year. The bundle likely won't last all the way through 2017 and even then the game is exclusive to Win 10 and the store, neither of which I'm using, so the bundle is kinda useless for me. Hopefully next year Nvidia will have a new one.

How long does this last for? I'm getting mine in like november. Maybe I could get it before if it doesn't last for that long
