Forums - Movies & TV - Jurassic World 2 Is Apparently Going To Have An Absolutely Insane Budget

Considering how much money Jurassic World made $260 million is not a insane budget if it would have been $300 million or more that would have been a insane budget.

I think the next one will not make a 1 billion dollars

Why though? What can you do with 260 that you couldn't do with 150 or 190? I don't think adding to the budget will get more butts in seats.

Unlike the Marvel films which have a massive rosters of name actors this should only have Chris Pratt as a significant part of the payroll.

In any event, more dinosaurs so I am interested.

Jurassic world had like 10 minutes of good movie surrounded by two hours of shit.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

The first one was also great because we'd never seen special effects at that level. In 1993, that movie blew minds because of it.

True. They also hold up very well.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I watched it again with my GF a few months back. With the exception of the first scene where we see dinosaurs, it really holds up. You can't say that about too many 23 year old movies.

JW was good but not great. Still I would probably watch a sequel.

The first one was okay but not great. The rest were quite bad. I think I've seen them all.

The latest one has a scene where these flying dinosaurs crash into some kind of biosphere, correct? That movie was borderline ridiculous.

Still I'd rather watch this tipe of movie than any of all these boring police/thief/agent movies.
