How can Microsoft advertise better resolution this gen?  THEY CAN'T!  Microsoft were the ones who built an inferior powered console, included tech that most no one wanted, and charged a higher price than the competition for less.  And the consumers validated Microsoft's mistakes with their wallets.  So you can blame both Microsoft and consumers for this "resolution war."  But go ahead and blame Sony.  I do.  I blame Sony for building a better product for the console gaming community.  You might as well blame the developers for pushing both PS4 and Xbox hardware which resulted in the superior PS4 version.  I don't see you complained about this when most initial Xbox 360 multi-console games looked better than the PS3.

You can blame Microsoft for building an inferior console, blame the consumers for choosing PS4 over the Xbox One with the 20 million worldwide gap, blame Sony for developing a better console, and blame the developers for taking advantage of both hardwares making better PS4 versions.  Who and what else you want to blame?

I simply blame the console bros for starting the resolution war.   Calling the Xbox inferior compared to the PS4 is an exagerration.  They are both incredibly dated tech wise and fail to hit 1080p on some games.  I get which side you are on, I just don't don't understand how you are missing my point.   Console gamers have deemed resolution important and now MS is rushing to market.  Will a console capable of 4k gaming and 30fps let alone 60fps be under $600 by next year.  Quite unlikely.  Intersted to see what they do.  But the only reason they are doing it so soon is because the console plebs bashed the XBO's resolution for specific games.
Console gamers, man.   I game a little bit on my ps4 and xbo, butI just can't believe how many of em' care about resolution for games.

That the hell does that even mean?????  I may not know what that stands for, but it sure smells like the rest of what you've been pumping out from behind.

People aren't complaining about MS talking about Scorpio specs (at most they are saying Slim will be suffering from this focus on Scorpio) they are pointing out MS being misleading with the talk about native 4k for the games on Scorpio, but if you think it's good for you to be lied about (like they did time after time in X1) then well that is your option. And this thread is about MS not about all other companies, so talking about other companies is off-topic.

How can they be misleading or even lieing to everyone when the System isnt even out yet and its 1 year away? Sounds more like you dont want to hear how good scorpio is going to be because you have no interest in Xbox. Thats how i read it. If you dont like what you read on the internet than i suggest dont use the internet. MS have every right to talk up there products just like everyone else. Its a buiness.

Xbox Slim is doing pretty well from what iv seen. Tell those who think Slim is going to fall short because of Scorpio to go into a shop and ask them how many XB1 Slims they sold. My local store is selling them like hot cakes.

Because we already know it isn't possible to do full native 4k gaming on 6,2 TFlops, so their talk on this is misleading (even more when we see what was already posted here of them talking about Sony console and their and that they also wouldn't do full native, but would have a better presentation than Sony). But enter denial as much as you want, were you also one of the guys that believed MS when they said their GPU wasn't 30%+ weaker than PS4, or that there was a secreat chip, or that the cloud would make X1 6x more powerfull or that DX12 would make X1 games run better than PS4 and look better?

Guess you have a very specific seeing of what is doing pretty well. Small victory against PS4 being a new revision and special pricing isn't a very well output.

Sure, it was PS2 superior specs that made MS rush X360 and RROD as well right? MS is the only responsible for their mistakes. Customers are only responsible for not voting with their wallet.

Report me if it bothers you so much, sheesh.  I am not taking a sony or MS side like you assumed I already did.  Which is why I think you are missing my point. My point is MS is rushing their new console because of console buyers over-glorifying resolution.
4k gaming machine for PC if you want 60fps runs you a grand easy even without the monitor/tv for 4k.  Console consumers have made resolution more important than it actually is.  Consoles are just falling behind at an incredible rate this time around. GPU tech is just advancing rapidly  for the past few years and consoles cannot keep up.

What do people consider compromised? Native 4K HQ 30 fps locked? Native 4K Med/High IQ 60 fps? 2K HQ 60 fps?

This is a console. Very likely priced in the $400-$500 range.

Anyone expecting 4K Ultra 60 fps with every bell and whistle needs a reality check. There isn't a consumer grade GPU on the market capable of that now...without compromises.

For me personally 4k 30fps is compromised. I just don't see the point of shooting for 4K unless it's also 60fps. Frame rate should be priority, but unfortunately it looks like with these uprgraded consoles that won't be the norm.

resolution was already being overglorified during PS360 era, even 20p differences in games were overblow to show how superior X360 were on the first multiplats. So don't talk like it's something new.

And about he assuming you took MS side I can't imagine from where he would have that idea.
