Im not defending MS, they do it aswell. However Sony since the PS2 days have been hyping up there specs more than iv seen in my gaming experinces. Sony promised 1080p and 60 frames for the PS4

http://n4g.com/news/1264169/sony-actively-pushing-for-60fps-1080p-with-ps4

Im okay with competition attacking eachother because that benefits us gamers. However being one sided and saying one can do it but the other cant is where i draw the line.

Just to add - PS4 had better hardware on paper however the 360 was better engineered and delievered better performance over the cause of last gen except afew exceptions. PS3's problem was its Ram where 360 had shared memory which made a big difference.

Ok, so you just deviated the point to go after Sony in a MS discussion? ok.

And when actively pushing becomes promising? And the person saying Sony is pushing it is a unkown dev instead of Sony. You aren't helping your point.

I am not deciating the point, i am just replying. I am not attacking Sony i am using them as an example. MS and Sony both brag about specs. SOny have been doing it longer thats all im saying.

On that all companies talk good about their specs, from as far as I can remember on Sega Master System, so it's no point to bring Sony to the thread unless if for deviate the point.

Why are people complaining about MS talking about Scorpio specs than? Every other company brags about there specs than why is MS not ok to do so?

People aren't complaining about MS talking about Scorpio specs (at most they are saying Slim will be suffering from this focus on Scorpio) they are pointing out MS being misleading with the talk about native 4k for the games on Scorpio, but if you think it's good for you to be lied about (like they did time after time in X1) then well that is your option. And this thread is about MS not about all other companies, so talking about other companies is off-topic.

Because...REASONS.

Look, if you haven't noticed this place is mostly ran by Sony afficionados.

Scorpio is a sensitive subject, it means time cometh where they no longer 'have the best' hardware.  So naturally MS touting their hardware comes across salty and unprofessional. These were the same folk hi-fiving when Sony put out the 'How To Share Games' video. It will take time to come back down to earth.  Luckily they will have sales to cling onto until the next 'upgrade' comes around.

How can they be misleading or even lieing to everyone when the System isnt even out yet and its 1 year away? Sounds more like you dont want to hear how good scorpio is going to be because you have no interest in Xbox. Thats how i read it. If you dont like what you read on the internet than i suggest dont use the internet. MS have every right to talk up there products just like everyone else. Its a buiness.

Xbox Slim is doing pretty well from what iv seen. Tell those who think Slim is going to fall short because of Scorpio to go into a shop and ask them how many XB1 Slims they sold. My local store is selling them like hot cakes.

Exactly. A console that might be offering better hardware than Sony's platforms.. How dare they.

And here I am waiting for the Nintendo NX with its supposed 720p hand held and anxious in playing some kick ass Nintendo games!

I don't recall Microsoft execs/PR EVER advertising better resolution like Sony has done this generation via social media and whatever else.  Resolution shouldn't be a big deal, but a certain group of people made sure the Xbox One got shit on because of it.  Now we have to sit back and watch MS talk resolution crap about its new console as the internet has deemed it important when it comes to consoles, via Xbox One resolution jokes.

How can Microsoft advertise better resolution this gen?  THEY CAN'T!  Microsoft were the ones who built an inferior powered console, included tech that most no one wanted, and charged a higher price than the competition for less.  And the consumers validated Microsoft's mistakes with their wallets.  So you can blame both Microsoft and consumers for this "resolution war."  But go ahead and blame Sony.  I do.  I blame Sony for building a better product for the console gaming community.  You might as well blame the developers for pushing both PS4 and Xbox hardware which resulted in the superior PS4 version.  I don't see you complained about this when most initial Xbox 360 multi-console games looked better than the PS3.

You can blame Microsoft for building an inferior console, blame the consumers for choosing PS4 over the Xbox One with the 20 million worldwide gap, blame Sony for developing a better console, and blame the developers for taking advantage of both hardwares making better PS4 versions.  Who and what else you want to blame?

I simply blame the console bros for starting the resolution war.   Calling the Xbox inferior compared to the PS4 is an exagerration.  They are both incredibly dated tech wise and fail to hit 1080p on some games.  I get which side you are on, I just don't understand how you are missing my point.  Console gamers have deemed resolution important and now MS is rushing to market.  Will a console capable of 4k gaming and 30fps let alone 60fps be under $600 by next year.  Quite unlikely.  Intersted to see what they do.  But the only reason they are doing it so soon is because the console plebs bashed the XBO's resolution for specific games.
Console gamers, man.   I game a little bit on my ps4 and xbo, butI just can't believe how many of em' care about resolution for games.

That the hell does that even mean?????  I may not know what that stands for, but it sure smells like the rest of what you've been pumping out from behind.
