Definitely. I'd have been all over Resi 7 if it was like this movie. It even has the whole mansion setup and actual undead involved with it.

I love RE CG movies. This seems like movie of RE1 game..

It'll appeal to a crowd of people, the same way it did for those that hold 4 on the pedestal of "best Resi game ever" despite fans like myself still preferring the original series and spinoffs compared to the ones of today.

I'd rather have a remake of Resi Outbreak file 1-2 than another shot at trying to be like Outlast. 

Love the RE CG movies, I'm excited to watch this!

Plus the live action RE aren't that exciting.

I'm curious to see how they'll end the live action movie.  No zombie movie ever has ended well.  It's pretty much the world is forever f**ked.  Though Shaun of the Dead is probalby the most happiest ending to a zombie movie I've seen.

Apparently they want a Resi tv series?. I'd be down for it, but I want it to be filled with action and actual plot. I like the Walking dead, but for the past 6 years it feels like it's dragged along rather slowly and has less action and more survivors bickering about who cheated on who or who stole supplies.

I'm down for this. Regular zombies, two main leads, I only wish the movies would actually affect the lore a bit more, they never seem to be anything more than fillers stories that are never acknowledged in the actual games.

I've loved the previous CGI Resi films before. I'd go for a CGI series over live action tbh.

I get that TWD is meant to be about survival in a zombie apocalypse, but the fact they they make it a zombie one, and then never bother with their immortal foes still baffles me. it's like having a tv series about Jaws, but you only see him every 12th episode of a season, but the rest of the season you still see characters talking about the shark. TWD features a lot of survival talk and other topics of conversation, then we get a few clips of undead shuffling outside, each season shows us a bunch gathering together and then a few nutjobs get the undead rattled, it then reaches a point where the entire show becomes predictable.
