Well i'm usual to make those kind of thread and since a guy asked me to do it, i was like, why not? :p
Predict PS4 sales this week in Japan, September 12th to September 19th 2016. For a comparation, PS3 sold 151,000 unit the week of slim release. Persona 5 and PS4 Slim release September 15th 2016.
Also, why not, predict Persona 5 sales.
my guess
[PS4] Hardware - 95,000
[PS4] Persona 5 - 250,000
[PS3] Persona 5 - 80,000
We had 3 weeks of shortages?
3 x 20 = 60k of delayed sales
Then you have the Persona 5 + Slim effects = 80k
No less than 140k
I'd say 160k is possible, 150k is likely, 140k is guaranteed.
I'll say 50 just because Japan is Japan and haven't quite taken to the ps4 the way the rest of the world has, though I think the Slim effect will spread over the coming weeks and should make up for the deficit the console shortage caused.
Persona should be a little over 200k.
