Pretty ironic considering one of Hillary Clintons mentors was Democrat senator Robert Byrd who was a recruiter for the KKK.

Not sure if you ever heard what Bill Clinton said about Obama in the 2008 campaign when Hillary and Obama were neck and neck?

"A few years ago he'd be serving us coffee"

Hillary Clintons comments about blacks being "super predators"?

Huff Post : WHy Hillarys "Super predator comment matters" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ronda-lee/hillarys-superpredator-comment_b_9655052.html

Any comment?

So basically, Leviticus is bunk. I went to Catholic school for 10 years. The whole thing is a mess, but it's basically just "lulz, don't believe the crazy stuff in the beginning, Jesus means all that stuff can be bypassed". It's just a bizarre middle eastern philosophy that even the Romans who co-opted it to try and keep their Empire going realized was full of too much crazy stuff that it had to be streamlined or bypassed entirely to be paltable to Roman society.

Jesus I don't believe even said anything about homosexuality or 10393938 other things, which is a bit bizarre being as how if its such a big deal you would think he could take 2 minutes to talk about it.

I see your point. I respect atheists that say "I do not believe in God, period".

But when people say "I hate God because he forbids me to eat shellfish" then I am compeled to explain that the God christians believe is the one that the Holy Bible, all 66 books combined, tell about. If you take a single verse it does not show the whole history.

But I understand that you does not care about that, you do not believe, period. But it is unfair to say something that the Holy Bible clearly does not say. It is a book that tells the history of mankind and the plan of Salvation.

You can not believe, of course, but to say it is because of shellfish is just not true.

It is like me saying that all gay people want to sodomize little children, it would be simply untrue and unfair, it would be dishonest.

The Bible is and has always been up for interpretation, that interpretation has also changed over centuries past, it is why there are so many Church denominations with their own take on the Bible.

For example, the word "Homosexual" has only come into existence in the last 100~ or so years, convenient how it ended up in the Bible huh? :P
The fact of the matter is, someone interpreted "Sodomy" as "Homosexuality" when in-fact Sodomy is derived from the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, God actually never specified the Sin for the reason he delt out his wrath in that story, ergo Homosexuality and Sodomy may not mean what a large chunk of religious think it means.
Thus the Bible may not be against homosexuality at all, only the individuals interpretation.

With that said, it's of almost a universal theological agreement that everything in the old Testament is no longer relevent to us today, thus Leviticus's stance against Homosexuality, eating shellfish, wearing mixed fabrics is a non-issue.

People like you and me want fair rights for everyone, that is also what most gays want.

The far right is just as bad as the far left, let's not kid ourselves here.

Love them or hate them, the christians are the some of the only ones that understand that the infancy is sacred and can not be messed with. Sex and infancy do not mix, they should not mix.

How knowledgable are you on Sexuality, Sex, Gender and how it applies to people?

I live in a Secular society, which has been secular since it federated centuries ago, where Christians (Or any religion) have no right imposing their religious ideals on the populace... And for the most part we have been successfull at that. Yay.

Fixed that for you.

You are joking. Clinton will smash Trump hands down. There are not enough angry white Christian male Trump voters to beat the women and minority groups that oppose Trump.

Anyone dare to respond to how the hell Trump's economic plan would benefit anyone but the rich and multinational corporations? When has cutting the taxes on the rich benefited the poor? When has trickle down economics actually worked to increase the wages of average citizens?  How many people are affected by the estate tax?

Is he going to get rid of all the loopholes after lowering the business tax rate from 35 to 15? I highly doubt it. Many multinationals corporations already pay near zero to lower than 15% tax rate.  This would benefit small business owners that don't have tax shelters all over the world.  Perhaps we should cut all the damn subsidies and loopholes that big corporations lobbied millions of dollars for before cutting the tax rate to 15.

How is reducing the tax rate on foreign income to 5% (to bring the money back to USA going to help the USA economy? We already did this in a 2004 bill which many of the multinationals like Citigroup, Pfizer, Ford and others brought back tons of money. What did they do? They had massive layoffs that followed and used that money to buy back stock to drive their stock prices up further.

I dare anyone to respond. These old con economic policies haven't worked in the past and they won't work in the future.  The only thing I agree with Trump is that we need more infrastructure spending which we need more money from the multinationals that use our roads, highways, airports etc with little to no tax.

My calendar reads "September 16th, 2016."  I thought we as a society have gotten past social stereotypes in this day and age.  Oops.  I did day "as a society" as the key phrase.  There are still a few who still stereotype.  What are you gonna do.

Sometimes stereotypes fit.  I stereotype people all the time.  I see a hipster and I automatically think douche which I am usually right.  I see a very fat person and I think they must love junk food and not enjoy being too active.  That is usually the case.  I can keep going if you want me to.

Economically Trump is more of the same old, same old. Tax breaks for rich people, it will "trickle down" even though that's been tried like 10 times before and hasn't worked.

Sure.  I'll outright says that my wife and I are voting for a third party.  But between the two major candidates, we'd prefer Trump, and we don't have to justifiy ourselves.  My wife is a caucasian woman, and she's from the north.  I'm from the South of mainly Asian background.  And we both love Jesus.  This sure doesn't fit into the stereotypical political outdated idiocy that have been forced around for who knows how long.  Therefore, the two of us voting for Trump would be considered "progressive."  And this world needs more progressivism, right?  Trump is it!
