just last week

March 28, 2009. I wonder how the site's layout looked back then? i really don't remember.

I joined back in 2008 when I was suppose to register to NeoGaf but ended up here instead. (not sure how lol)

Lets just say I was happy that I made the mistake. I like the community here better then the jungle that is Gaf and N4G.

I still think ioi holds the record for time spent lurking.

I think you have to actually spend time on the site for it to count as lurking though...

I remember this one time, we kept mentioning ioi in a thread and suddenly he popped up and commented... makes me think in reality he spends most his time just looking to see if he's mentioned on the forums.

Hmm, pie.

Summer of 2014.

No real reason why I joined, I just felt like making an account.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I guess I joined September 22nd 2015, but hey, soon that will mark my year of being a member!

May 18 2009.

Went to this site to see sales numbers. Saw that I could see more of the list if I was a member, so I joined. Didn't really start posting here until around 2013 or 2014 I think. Had been on Gametrailers since 2005, so I mainly posted there.

You picked the best day to sign up though!

Oct 24, 2008. I was just starting to visit site for sales numbers. Started looking numbers on that shit site nexgenwars or whatever it was called and then saw someone mention this site.

I then joined when I saw a thread about EA and couldn't resist for taking a cheap shot at EA. I quickly learned that shitting on EA is a non bannable offense so I quickly grew to like the site.
