With a NX announcement lurking around the corner (after all the console is launching in 6 months), I thought it might be fun to make things more interesting by making a definitive prevision thread Crow style!!!

As usual the losers will be asked to sport some kind of Crow avatar and/or sig for 1 month (or 1 week if parading a Crow in VGChartz forums is too much for you to bare, I don't want to cause PTSD amongst fellow posters).

The rules are simple: Predict the chip manufacturer (AMD, Nvidia or other) and the type of harware (handheld, home console or hybrid)!

If you fail 1 of your previsions, you get to sport a Crow sig... fail both of them & the toll is both avatar & sig, MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Feel free to try & guess the architecture (X86, ARM or other) and a general timeframe for the NX reveal (before TGS, during TGS, just after TGS, October, November, 2017...) but bear in mind if you make those predictions, that they don't count for the Crow game!!!

This is not a debate thread so let's not argue for the *th time the "facts" that supposedly support our choices. Just give the straight dope & keep things civilized!!!

Just for the love of god make it frikkin clear that if you are wrong on your prediction, you HAVE to have a crow avatar/sig. Put it in the goddamn title, and don't word it ambiguously like you have in the OP.

I'll start myself the Crow game & my predictions are:

AMD chip for a home console!!!

I'll say it's a X86 architecture & the announcement will be made at the beginning of October!!!

Now come at me Crows if you dare!!!

I like the title, it has mistery & lets the imagination run wild... lol

I say it will be a handheld that can connect to the TV (either by a Dock or a port on the handheld).

To me, a hybrid is one where if the handheld is connected to the dock, the performance increases by a noticeable amount that isn't the natural increase that hardware gains by having more juice through the wall outlet. But instead, the performance is increased cause there is a GPU and etc inside of the Dock which lets the performance increase by a significant amount.

So only quote me if it actually does that and not just, oh it connects to the dock and has extra ports with almost no noticeable performance gain so its a hybrid.

Chip manufacturer is a hard one. If its a handheld, No wai is it gonna be AMD but Nvidia? :T

I guess I will go with Nvidia + Arm. Watch it be Apple. (If it is by some magical way, I deserve all the crows)

Also, how long is the crow avatar/sig for?

Then don't whine if some people misniterpret your ambiguous wording and don't get a crow avatar/sig if they lose.
