Oh yeah, I live in the mountains, in a little town called Serra Negra.
All I can get here is internet through radio signal, 7MB per second, that is it.
But, oh well, at least we do not have earthquakes and the coffee is delicious =)

7MB per second? Still better that most of Australia.

That is a really high speed. Usually the companies sell the internet as one thing and only give 5-15%.

Some months ago, the government + the companies of internet  tried to make Internet a limited service instead of a "pay 1 month and use unlimited". They wanted something like mobile internet. They also said that people like Gamers, who play a lot of online games and download a lot of games, were the ones that made them take that decision: "Gamers use much more MB/GB than a normal person. Thus we can't give a quality service while they use so much internet.".

But most of the developed part is before the Urais Mountains, after that there`s hardly any city with over one million habitants. And northern Siberia is hardly habitable due to extreme cold and radiation of the atomic test.

1 million on city is a very high population and actualy undesirable, I would love being able to do my work in a sub 100k city and having all the ammenities of big cities while not facing traffic. I get close to that today.

I think that Brazil's biggest city, in population, has over 11-12 Millions of people and is the 7-9 biggest city, in population, of the World.

I know that. But expecting several cities over 1M in a country isn't a good thing in the end.
