Forums - General Discussion - It's extremely frustrating being a technology lover in Brazil.

Oh yeah, I live in the mountains, in a little town called Serra Negra.
All I can get here is internet through radio signal, 7MB per second, that is it.
But, oh well, at least we do not have earthquakes and the coffee is delicious =)

7MB per second? Still better that most of Australia.

Why don't you move to another country?

Besides, you are confusing gadets with technology. I'm brazillian too, and being pretty honest, i don't recall ever doing something about it. And i'm not about voting for someone, this is mostly irrelevant, i'm talking about actuallly chasing all these missed opportunitties, you know? If no one in the market is providing cheap and good internet, why don't I put up a company to do that? If importing gadget here is expensive, it mean that if i porduce here and export, exchange rate will be really favorable.

I'm not better than the people in here that favour a system of blaming someone intead of taking responsabilities. And everyone in a country does that, this is the result.

BTW: ellon musk, ceo of tesla, is south african native, so  i think the place you being born don't determine how far you can go.

Elon Musk, huh - not everyone can afford to pay for private schooling or set up a company pre-2000s with their dad's money.

I gotta be kidding =(

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I heard that it is the biggest country in the World. But I'm not sure.

In land/territory, yes, by far.

Russia is almost as big as the 2nd and 3rd (Canada and China) biggest countries put together, that's how damn big it is.

It's bigger than the whole Antarctica continent.

But most of the developed part is before the Urais Mountains, after that there`s hardly any city with over one million habitants. And northern Siberia is hardly habitable due to extreme cold and radiation of the atomic test.

The average speed in Australia is 7.8Mbps. It's not far off.

The point being?
He said he wasn't sure it was the biggest country in the world, I confirmed it to him.
Population or population distribution is a complete different subject.

Ok. The point being it being the biggest country but with some drawbacks like how much of this land actually being used for human activities. Just adding information for no charge, you're welcome.

Emeralds are green. Here take one more information free of charge...
Seriously though, the thing is that what you posted had nothing to do whatsoever with either his or my posts.

So I really don't understand where it came from, I know it's information related to Russia, but not to the matter of its size, more in line with its usage.

I guess I was kinda rude on my last post, so sorry for that, but yours was really not related to what I was talking about.

It's ok. The original Thread itself is long gone too. I think it's too late and I'm out of my medication for depression for 10 days and my thinking is really started to get impaired and insomnia is really messing with me right now. Sorry for those random informations here too, I'm going to try going to sleep and try to figure it out why I just wrote that.

I heard Russia is a great place... Just don't play Pokemon Go in churches.

Yeah, it is. In all honesty  I would never suggest living there, it's such a crazy country!

1 million on city is a very high population and actualy undesirable, I would love being able to do my work in a sub 100k city and having all the ammenities of big cities while not facing traffic. I get close to that today.
