Datacap is norm outside Brazil, and you can try to use other companies, besides 200Gb is nothing shy...

But the guilty is on ANATEL limiting the market soo much

It really depends on the person use. I myself is a pretty heavy user. I download steam games and do loads of streaming. Once I get a 4k TV 200 gb will be nothing to stream 4k content.

I agree whith you that some non profitable companies can be more valuable than profitable ones. But my real point is that unlike amazon, Elon Musk companies arent serious. Look at his portfolio: colonize mars? we cant even do it on the moon yet! the hyperloop? the tecnology to do this kind of traveling possible does not exist! In the case of tesla the tecnology is there but its not optmized yet for the market, it can take decades even a century to the electric car price become comparable to the oil car. What im really trying to say is that elon musk main goal is to sell an ilusion, the real final product is a mere casuality if it hapens.

Interesting to learn about the situiation in Brazil. But you can't all move somewhere else lol, at least not to Europe. Europe is overpopulated.

How much costs a PS4 there and a GTX 1070?

It would be interesting to hear from members from other countries outside of the West, not just about the prices of electronics but about life in general and if they too want to move lol

I do want to move to Europe, but only for a good country like France or Germany, if its to move to those Others I see no point too. PS4 costs 1800 BRL and a GTX 1070 costs around 2500 BRL.

Oh yeah, I live in the mountains, in a little town called Serra Negra.
All I can get here is internet through radio signal, 7MB per second, that is it.
But, oh well, at least we do not have earthquakes and the coffee is delicious =)

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Are you saying other European countries other than .fr and .de aren't good countries? Just to clarify, lol

A PS4 made in Brazil, with garantee can be bought for R$ 2000, which is around 612 dollars.

The GTX 1070 board cost around 620 dollars here, but to set up a machine that would run with it you would probably need a total around 2000 dollars.

You tell me that.
It's not like the country doesn't have lots of way more concerning problems, but ffs, what they think we are? They basically deny us access to buy technology, while shoving taxes up our asses, they are basically denying a big flow of money to happen here, which is bad for the country economy, they should actually be making big investiments on that to try to get all that money and start developing technology inside the country just as well.

It`s just what I think also. China nowadays has a thriving internal technology and internet economy, but they learned from the outside. Japan at first bought cars from the West and would reverse engineer them so they could start making their own. China is doing that with cars, planes, computers, cellphones and etc. Brazil has a terrible idea of protecting the local industry, even if this local industry is non-existent, and the single idea of copying what works outside is considered wrong. Many people here says " here is Brazil we will do things our way!" , but if we have milleniums of history and countries and companies doing things that work and that doesn`t work we don`t have to make the same mistakes as others to learn, we can take off from a much better position, and the local culture systematically denies that, that always leads this country for disaster. And our government is extremely short-sighted when making decisions. Dilma herself did everything she could to present good numbers for the year even if it meant setting a time bomb just waiting to explode, she and Lula just threw away everything FHC built in name of short term popularity, and now, this day and time in 2016, we are all paying for that with exception of the super riches.

Interesting. What other Europan countries would you move to if you couldn't move to Fra or Ger? Name at least 5.

So the PS4 and GTX 1070 cost about 40-50% more over there than they do in Sweden. That's a lot of money. You have this extremely high tax put on all imported goods right?

More or so.  Portugal, Spain, Greece, Italy and Ireland aren`t that much better. I never in my life want to live in the UK. Nordic countries are nice but I couldn`t handle the wheather, Switzerland is way too boring, Belgium and Holland are kinda meh too. France is France, the country that pushed human rights as we know them today and have great food, Germany even in a middle of a crisis was growing.
