IGN - 7.3/10

Perhaps its biggest issue, at least on console, is its shoddy overall performance. While a mid or even lower range PC can handle ReCore just fine even at max settings, the Xbox One version rarely if ever manages to make it to 30 fps. It never interfered with my ability to play in any significant manner, but it definitely degrades the visual joy of exploring Far Eden a bit.

Polygon - 6.5/10

Recore isn’t a disaster, as much as the bizarre structure and hoops it made me jump through left a bad taste in my mouth. At its heart, there’s a game with some good ideas and great spins on action-game conceits that don’t see a lot of play this console generation. When it’s working, Recore is a game that feels evocative of a different era of action games. But in its final half, Comcept and Armature let collect-a-thon structure and a poorly realized open world drag the whole thing back down to earth.

Gamespot - 6/10

I wanted to like it more, and had it not overstayed its welcome, I would have. But in the end, like its robots, ReCore is a game with a bright soul encased in parts that are used well past their prime.

Game Informer - 5.5/10

ReCore is a poster child for wasted potential. At its heart is a good (though not great) game, marred by long load times, technical problems (including frame rates dips and the occasional crash), and bad pacing. The infuriating and frivolous road blocks may have doubled the length of the 20-hour game, but they also halved my fun.

Giant Bomb - 2/5

ReCore offers a lighthearted, fun first few hours, but all that promise is quickly buried in a torrent of bugs and oversights, poor storytelling, and disjointed pacing that all make the game a pale shadow of what it could have been.

GamesRadar -  2/5

Littered with bugs, excruciating load times, and a severely padded ending, ReCore is a great example of good ideas, flawed execution.

Destructoid - 4/10

It's all a shame because ReCore shows so much promise in its opening hours. It's easy to envision a way in which all those ideas could manifest into something great. They don't, though. Instead, it's just a jumble of mechanics that never jell, gameplay that grows stale far too quick, and insulting design. System failure.

78! That is my final answer.

Hoping for 80s. Really hoping for great port reviews

I feel like it's gonna be the smaller things like potentially long loading times and bad textures in certain areas that will bring down the game's review score overall, but even if it lands somewhere in the 70's that's still very solid. (Long loading times can be really annoying but if that's the case hopefully it gets patched soon though since Bloodborne had big loading issues when it launched but still got great reviews despite it). I'm hoping it lands somewhere in the 80's though so that's why i'm guessing 82 for it like I wrote earlier in this thread.

I've been watching gameplay on Youtube from people who got it early and I have to say it looks great in my opinion. I feel like the story, gameplay, music, etc are more than good enough to make up for some performance issues or it maybe not looking as good graphically as other games. (Plus I could be talking out of my ass here but I feel like it looks obvious that the game probably didn't have as big of a budget as other first party Microsoft games so of course it's not gonna look as good as them, but I could be wrong and maybe they just didn't try to make a super amazing looking game and just wanted it to be fun).

Based on the preview thread it should be in the 60s but I have not seen actual gameplay yet.
