What kind of PC and GPU did you own before your new Alienware? What other platforms do you actively use other than PC?

Are you avoiding the time consuming games on purpose so that you can experience as many games as possible?

A Dell XPS One 27 AiO with i5-3330 and GT 640M. The 27" touchscreen is great. I'm one of the few PC gamers who never built a PC. The AiO is still in use (it's only 3 years old after all), just not for most games anymore. From now on I will just use it for selected games like CIv V or other strategy games.

Yes, I'll avoid time-consuming games until I have the shorter ones out if the way. It's the only way to effectively reduce my backlog.

Damn backlogs lol

Mine is just growing for each year no matter what I try to do, like doing gaming marathons during my vacations or writing schedules for the exact order in which I should play through games. I'm about to give up.

58. Used to be many more but after they introduced the ability to remove games from my account i purged the games i had no interest in playing

185, but I've not played more than perhaps half of them, many of those in physical form before I got them on Steam. I also have around 70 titles on GOG and another 12-15 on Origin, but I try to buy as little as possible for the latter since I don't really want to support EA.

Is nobody impressed I only have 1 game?

Currently 95 from which I probably haven't even played half, waiting for christmas to increase that number.

Of all the games I have on Origin, I only bought Mass Effect 3. The rest are the free stuff they give every now and then.

Please excuse my bad English.

Dunno i haven't logged in for a while lol but i own 160 physical console games which at least i can resell in the future if need be.

Good for you. But that's completely offtopic.

  • Nobody asked about console games (the section "PC discussion" should be a hint)
  • Nobody asked about physical games
  • Nobody asked about pros & cons of physical or digital games
  • Nobody asked about your financial situation, which could require you to sell your games in the future

Did i strike a cord?  Lol

No you didn't.

But it's getting a bit tiresome to see you getting into PC based discussions to defend or praise console gaming. You don't have to, it's not needed, and no one cares.

I'm not into buying games digitally, and the only digital one I have I also have the physical copy of. Besides that me having Steam is basically only a thing because I needed it for my Total War games.

Digital: 1 - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II (I wanted to replay it but I was too lazy to get my disc out and it was just €2)

Physical that needed Steam to be activated: 4 - Empire: Total War, Napoleon: Total War, Total War: Rome II, Cities Skylines (even bought two DLC packs for this)
