Now that the cat has clawed its way out of the cage, are you buying a PS4 Slim or the PS4 Pro?  And why?

I'm buying a PS4 Pro over the Slim.  I just can't see it any other way.  As a 1080p HDTV owner, I'm encouraged to hear this:

"Cerny clarified that PS4 Pro isn't just for people with 4K or HDR-capable displays, as developers can make use of the extra power to improve visual fidelity on standard 1080p TVs. Games will know what display you use and developers can tailor their experiences to fit. The extra power can be used to boost visual density or make other tweaks to visuals that can be enjoyed on non-4K TVs."

The Pro is for me, and I do want one by this Christmas.  Here's hoping for a cool bundle.

Nope, do not see the benefits associated with the costs of an upgrade. Note in Canada PS4S costs about as much as the PS4 did on launch and PS4 Pro is $100 more than that.

If I upgraded to 4k TV I might consider it, but I doubt I would any time soon. 

PS4 Pro. I've yet to buy PS4-anything, and at that pricepoint, I might as well get better framerates and so forth.

I'm sticking to my normal PS4, but if I was buying one now, I'd buy a PS4 Pro. The price difference is so small that you might as well.

I have a 4k tv so I'll be buying a PS4 Pro. Even if I had a 1080p TV I'd still choose the Pro over the Slim.

They still haven't solved my problem with the PS4 family: forced fees to play online. Until they don't eliminate that (and considering the cash that brings, they won't), I will not support the product. It's high armed robbery.

I'm sticking with my original PS4. The Pro doesn't seem like a big enough upgrade to justify getting another PS4 for me, especially considering I don't have 4K TV.

Last year,my pc broke. I have to buy a new pc soon.

None. I'm fine with my regular PS4 already and Sony has promised that games will work on all systems. If it ever gets to a point where games are releasing as PS4 Pro exclusives though despite what Sony has said I probably won't buy anymore Sony consoles and just stick to PC gaming.

I won't bother with any "mid-gen" upgrades, i'll just wait for the PS5 to actually come out, if there actually is a new generation that is.
