Elite Squad - The Enemy Within - Who ever watched?

It stars Wagner Moura from NARCOS.

It is my favorite brazilian movie =)

It shows a little bit how much violence, corruption and hipocrisy exists in Brazil.

It is raw, crude, ugly violence fueled by the drug parties of the rich boys and girls from the privileged families. The drugs the silicone filled teenagers snort in boats making a well oiled criminal machine go round. And the justice system trying to make sense of it all, catching like 1% of the criminals, does not matter how hard we try to do better. It is ugly, it is sad, it is how it is in Brazil.

And the movie shows it in a amazing way.

I work in the Law system since I was 22 years old, as a criminal file writer and a Justice Officer (there is no equivalent to that in the US, but it is someone that helps the judge with the outside the court affairs, finding people and things like that).

Anyways, working with this kind of stuff for 13 years, I garantee what happens in the movie is very similar to what you see in the real life here in Brazil.

I've only watched the first movie, it was very popular when it released.

I still need to watch The Enemy Within.

Saw the first movie and it was quite good. Second one is on my watch list.
