I am def. on the hopeful side of what SMD reports, being a console fan primarily over mobile form.  Still, most ppl expect multiple devices and we don't know whats first whether tablet, console, portable etc.

Every 4k TV with HDR on the market I'm pretty sure is a Smart TV, which means they will already have Netflix app that can play 4k content and HDR.

NX will be probably weaker than a standard PS4 which is cheaper than a PS4 Pro. So, why should this change much for Nintendo now?

The NX is gonna have to blow everything away, both the PSPro and Xbox Scorpio and in terms of hardware and I very much doubt it. The software will always be high quality but at some point, they gotta play on the same field as Sony and MS.

I don't understand your Netflix comment. They have 4K content on every device that supports 4k. I missed the event. Do PS4Pro users get a special deal or something?

As for the rest, I don't see the new PS4 having any sort of effect on Nintendo whatsoever. NX is going in a completely different direction. And M$ probably saw this coming, which is why they jumped the gun on announcing Scorpio so early.

They said as it was a big deal in the event, so I guess I fell for it =D
