Ps4 Pro for 399 is a amazing deal, even Netflix is on board with this.

What does it mean to Nintendo?

One thing: call the NX the sucessor of the 3DS or lose it in a big way.

If they say the NX is their next big thing, they will be laughed out of the theatre.

Now, if they come out with a Pokemon RPG to NX and say: "it is the next step for our handheld line and, if you want, you can hook it up to your tv. As consoles, you guys just wait".

so, what do you guys think?

nah, nothing changes. The ps4 pro is a great deal but sony is winning already, it's the same console and the same market, also the same price. NX is going to be something different with different games that you can't play on pc, xbox or ps. MS is the one that needs to go back to the drawing board.

Nobody needs to go back to any drawing board, lol.

MS has Scorpio which is better than this PS4 Pro.

Nintendo has NX which is a portable hybrid machine that's more for the mobile/portable market.

PS4 Pro was basically everything we already knew for several months already, no surprises. The big word going around was that Sony would match Scorpio specs, but looks like that didn't happen.

PS4 Pro is definitely looking great!!

What are you talking about? Nintendo's got the iPhone 7 lol

Honestly Nintendo just needs to announce the NX now. Sony already showed their guns and MS already described theirs. No point in hiding it now.

If graphics alone was what made a game, then I would agree...

Hehe, as if Nintendo cared about Sony's event.

"...even Netflix is on board with this". No way! Hold the press!!

If the nx comes out with new games it already has the pro beat in my eyes. I want new experiences not the samd stuff Sony has been hyping up for months except now in 4k

Reads thread.... Nintendo stocks up 25% today..... Seems like nintendo will be alright, and just in case any1 forgot "Wii" (as in nintendo could make its own thing and be more successful!)

well yeah that's true, the three consoles are doing something different, MS will have the stronger, Sony will have the economical and Nintendo will have, we don't know yet but zelda and mario are there so I'm going to be there.

Considering that the NX will be a handheld that can dock or connect to a TV, it won't probabl compete that much against the Pro. Nintendo just needs to get a stream f games to avoid droughts, and maybe a Vita TV-like model forpeople wo want to save money, and the NX will survive.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I'm not sure why people expected it to be above 400... the GPU shouldn't be vastly more expensive than the old one. The general decline in costs should offset the cost of the improved GPU and harddrive.

Really not overwhelmed by this. And if I were Nintendo I wouldn't care a bit. Nintendo doesn't really cater to the high end consumers who would really care about 4K gaming, and that seems to be the main market that this appeals to. I'm legitimately confused as to how the neurons in OPs head wound up coming to that conclusion.
