Yeah cpu means a lot when it comes to emulation. What CPU you got?.

I told you twice already, it's an i5-6600K overclocked to 4.5GHz ...

What the hell kind of logic is that? That's like saying a guy that steals DVDs from Walmart is way more likely to go out and see the sequles in theaters. I'm sure all of those Wii and psp games that got stolen last gen really impacted the Wii u and vita in great ways. You're either naive or dumb or trying to ignore the problem if you legitimately think that the vast majority of people that use this emulator will actually own a 3ds. It's just going to be a bunch of douche bags that will never do anything to actually support the system or its successor or the developers that make games for the system

No your trying to use strawman tactics to show how emulation can be bad.  Your ignoring the facts that emulation always comes near the end of a consoles life, your ignoring the fact the 3DS is a handheld and your ignoring the fact emulation comes well after the system has been Cracked open and can be modded to play illegal games, something that does have an impact on software sales much more then emulation ever would. Many people including me use emulation perfectly legally to play games i already own and emulation has more good uses then bad.

Emulation doesn't always come near the end of console life spans just look at the wii, ds and psp and while the 3ds probably doesn't have more than 2 years left this emulator will still probably be up and running soon enough to impact 2017 titles. Just about everything you said in your last post is a flat out lie, cracked systems and flash carts are much easier to control and shut down, emulation on the other hand can be done very easily by anyone that owns a decent pc

I don't know why we don't yet have a moratorium for the people that bring up piracy in emulation related threads ...

I don't buy how modern emulation is the biggest culprit in terms of piracy/lost revenue when compatibility is often very low once a system nears the end of it's lifespan in terms of software support so not only is compatibility hardly guaranteed but publishers eventually slow down printing copies of games too which automatically lowers potential revenue in the end ...

Emulation of modern consoles through PCs are FAR AWAY from being the most accessible way of piracy when you often have to subsidize higher hardware costs. If my sole purpose was to only play games for free then I would've just saved my $800+ that I spent on my PC and instead get a 3DS with a flashcart when it is by far the cheaper option so free games probably isn't the driving factor for emulation. I'd argue that emulation is mainly driven by being able to get better experiences, more convenience, and best of all is a way for software to be kept alive once publishers stop producing the said copies of the games ...

Its not a flat out lie its a flat out fact. Why do you think "Console" piracy is more talked about then "Emulation" piracy?.

To the Bolded: Yes anyone with a decent PC can use emulation (If they have the know how but not as many people are as interested as you think looks to CGI <_< ), However its much more easier if you own the console to simply pay 30 euro for a flash cart then it is to pay 700+ euro for a PC.

Also PSP was one of the most easiest consoles ever to mod and was hacked and pirated in large numbers long before emulation came along.

Like i said the is a reason why when companys talk about piracy they never really mention emulation..

They don't talk about emulation because they can't go after emulation its a legal tool that most people use illegally. Also flash carts are almost a thing of the past, there was a huge lawsuit a few years ago that shut down a lot of sellers and creators. You keep dancing around the fact that this is going to be used to pirate games like ever oasis, pikmin, dragon quest 8 and other 2017 releases. It doesn't matter of its only 1 lost sale or a million either way it's shitty and hurts the game

Well to me and many others who use emulation legally its not shitty and gives an experience much better then the original hardware ever could.

And yes the companys could go after emulation if they could proof it is indeed having such a large impact on software sales but i bet just like you they would have a hard time doing so.

Your the one dancing around questions since you seem to enjoy ignoring most of my points such as how flash carts have a much bigger impact on sales then emulation ever would. And please dont tell me flash carts or devices like them are dying when it just takes a very quick google search to see the is 1000's of different sites selling them..

You also ignor the fact it would cost a person who wants to emulate newer systems much more then it would to just buy that system and get it modded/buy a flashcart. Like i said when companys talk about piracy they leave emulation out since they themselfs know they would have a hard time proving it has a large enough impact on sales to justify stopping it when the is far more good points for emulation. Thats the only reason companys have not yet shut down emulation and never will..

They have a harder time proving the impact of emulation because it's so easy to do and hard to track. Dozens if not hundreds of different sites each one with its own collection of roms its damn near impossible to track down every site. flash card sellers on the other hand are actual businesses they're some what legitimat all it takes is a lawsuit and a court order and Nintendo could easily find out exactly how many flash cards have been sold. Also 3ds flash carts are rare I checked Amazon and eBay and between both sites I only found 1 and even then I'm pretty sure it was mainly meant for original DS games and the only websites i found that sell them definitely aren't places you would want to put credit card info into
