Unlikely, I bought a Vita and 3DS and I didn't play them enough to justify the cost. I much prefer playing on my TV/Monitor, relaxed, with a good controller. If I'm out and about, then in between doing stuff/driving I can play the few mobile games that I actually like, but even then I barely play mobile games.

It'd be great for people who want that but that market is not for me anymore.

Possibly but they would have to price it properly as well as using universal memory cards as well as supporting the handheld with plenty of titles of their own as well as second and third party. Basically make it the handheld to end all handhelds. That and don't gimp me with online play charges either. I'd also want it to be beefed up in terms of specs from the Vita.

Nope. Power wise it will be destroyed by NX. All Nintendo has to do is make sure it gets the same quirky japan games that Vita 2 gets and just like that Vita 2 is rendered useless. Unless by some miracle Sony actually makes exclusives for this. Then it might stand a chance.

4G LTE or 5G would make it a device I would buy for all of my family, freinds, co-workers, and other respectable human beings.

The current Vita is a good device let down by the fact that it can't function on its own outside the home. The OG Vita with 3G is, and has been the best mobile device on the market since it launched.

If Sony put full efforts behind a new PlayStation Mobile line-up that had a PS Handheld, a PS Handheld/Phone, and a PS Phone (A phone that runs on the PS Mobile OS, that has the same lame slab design that has swept the world), then I see noreason why any self respecting PS4 owner wouldn't make the switch.

Sony needs to build a handheld that runs identical to the PS4 on a mobile version kf the PS4 OS, with full comparability with all PS4 software. This kind of device would give them the most full featured ecosystem in the market place, and rake in billions in profits. If Sony does this, like I said, I will buy one for anyone willing to make the switch from their current phone to the PS Mobile line.

The only reason I wouldn't buy a new ps handheld or PS Phone is if they went released a fake PlayStation on Android (AKA the Xperia Play).

If we're going by rumors then yeah. If Sony has something that knocks out the Tegra X2 then they will be fine. But the hallmark of Sony handhelds has been console power in the palm of your hand. If Nintendo beats them to that, then they don't have nearly as much to hang their hat on.

Spin it however you like. Nintendo has already confirmed NX existence. You being upset over me saying something that exists is more powerful than something that does not exist is a exercise in spinning wheels.

I do have affirmation. Its Iwatas announcement of NX. Something real > Something not real.

Only if it gets an exclusive Kingdom Hearts game that is of console quality, like Birth by Sleep for PSP.

Theres still hope Persona 5 will come to that or the Vita...... right................... /wrist
