This is the dumbest thing.... Pick the best man for the job no matter their ethnicity, sexuality or gender. People are people, so stop discriminating against them (even in a positive way). Companies should not be pressured to diversify, that leads to them hiring potentially worse staff to simply increase the number of Women, Black people or LGBTQ members working for them.


People are people, it doesn't matter just hire the person who is most qualified, skilled and has the best attitude.

First comment and it already hit the nail on it's head. I dont get this. Why should one limit now the quality of a team, rather than with newly created sports programs make it potentially far better in 5 years.

Creating opportunity for minorities through quotas is not racism.

That said, hopefully they are doing more for lower competitive levels as well, otherwise the day may never come when the quotas are no longer needed.

Since when are they a minority? This is racist, and stupid. Equality means that only your talent matters in the choice. Cricket is a sport that has historically been less present in the culure of the black population of South Africa, thus, less great talents are produced. Why should better players be put aside just to fill a quota? 

SA has some serious problem, among them the lowest estimated life expectancy of less than 50 years.
