Forums - General Discussion - Damn. I just realized its been 10 years since Steve Irwin died.

Didn't even know he was dead till I read his wiki page a few days ago. But apparently the crocodile hunter has already been dead for 10 years. Now I don't know if you guys know what I am talking about, but the crocodile hunter was very memorable to me when I was younger. I can't say I remember much, except for his Australian accent. RIP Steve, we've missed you dearly. 



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I remember him, but, I didn't know him its always sad when you are a fan of someone and you find out how they died and when, sometimes I watch an old show and read someone committed suicide or had an overdose, horrible. The internet really makes you not forget :)

Obviously its even worse when someone close to you dies, thats when you don't need internet, I remember when my father died like it was yesterday :'( but thats 6 years ago already.

Yep. Was struck in the heart, and bled out quickly. His last words were: "I'm dying".

As an Aussie of course I remember him. His death was a very sad time for the whole country. The man was a bloody legend here, sucks he was taken from us so early.
Still remember all the assholes that went and hunted stingrays after the incident, yeah those guys really understood Steve and all he stood for -_-

I remember it well as my son was a really big fan of the crocodile hunter show... it was sad to hear about it, but he should have been a bit more careful, but then i don't think he was that kind of guy.

I still remember him. My brother watched the Animal Planet a lot and I always enjoyed watching his show. From what I heard many years ago, his death was caught on camera but his family decided not to release it to the public. I don't blame them. Not an easy thing to look at.
