Wait, how do people think they're similar at all. Isn't Peach portrayed as liek, super feminine while Daisy's a huge tomboy?

First off, it's Princess Toadstool. I don't give a damn WHAT Nintendo says, it'll always be Princess Toadstool to me. Secondly, no. Daisy was just an ends to a mean.

She used to be, but nowadays Daisy is her own fleshed out character. It's kinda like how Luigi used to be a clone of Mario, or a player 2.

Nah. Daisy's a descendant of reptiles, and is thus a necessary piece of the puzzle to merge the 2 worlds, alongside the meteorite piece.

I'm not....

If they made Daisy a Peach alternate costumes, she would act the exact same way as Peach does. And even be recorded as Princess Peach in stat sheets and competitve play. Plus, it would kinda destroy the idea that Daisy's this competitve tomboy princess. She would put people to sleep or hide behind Toads would she?
