I was having a lot of fun with this game but it has really become ridiculous... Like the absolute worst fetch quest bullshit imaginable. I have played a game where I needed a guide before. I have however never played a game where there is no guide for the items I need... Apparently you just need to be lucky to get research probes? Because nobody can tell me where they are. About to shut this game off and never turn it on again if nobody can help me.... So please it has been a while since I have posted on here figured I would give it a shot. Trying to get the skell I need to find more research probes can anyone tell me where to find some. Something more helpful than just scan things. Thank you ever so kindly. ;)

trying to get my skel license I need to make 15k or something like that with probes... So I'm just trying to find out where research probes are.

Some of the item finds are difficult to find. I had to use a item drop guide for some of them.
The game lacks a map where one can see the item find history.

You need to make 15K off probes in some unit of time (I forget what it is in game, but in real life it's about 30 minutes or so). Set up the probes on your touchscreen so that you're on pace to make at least 15K each cycle, and then simply wait. Once the time period is up, you'll have accomplished that part of the quest.

Remember, linking probes ups your % of what you earn, also if you have booster probes and duplicator probes, they also up your earnings. They are best dropped near sight seeing spots because yes , WHERE you drop your probes is also important.

 Also keep in mind mining probes drop your research probe %. Take your mining probes out.

( And if you think 15k is hard, wait until you try to get Ares 90. It's one of the hardest things I've ever had to do in a game  ever).

Thanks all very helpful but I can't find anything but mining probes. Everytime I scan an artifact or machine or something thats the only thing I am receiving, mining probes. I don't know it's extremely frustrating.

This helped  back last year when I was trying to do some money making quests. Once you combo all your research probes together you should make enough to pass the quest.

It's still doable even if you just use regular probes. The more probes you install, the more money you'll get, so just take a look around and see where you haven't placed probes yet.

But yeah, this fetch quest is one of the lamest and most annoying parts of the game, hands down.

Well I finally found a research probe. G6 actually in oblivia in some cave so I can stop hating the game. Just waiting now got it all set up. Thanks.
