Gee, he could have channeled his rage into doing something else!
So, wait... is the idea here that if you play all the way to the center of the galaxy, and THEN find out what's there, it somehow becomes meaningful? o.o
Because my reaction upon finding out what was at the center ahead of time was more along the lines of 'Oh THANK GOD I didn't have to craft five hundred sodding warp coils. Now to find a solar system to settle in for the rest of the game!' And given the next day I was irritated with myself when a puzzle mechanic in the Witness was spoiled for me, pretty sure I have the inner desire to figure things out for myself, embark on the journey, etc... it's just that the whole 'what's at the center' thing is so underwhelming, I still have no idea why (from a 'benefits the player' perspective) it was kept a secret in the first place.

Gives players something to look forward to I suppose. What's at the center? Play the game and find out.
