Tiling doesn't help with compute shaders as time goes on when more games are spending time in the compute shader and especially in the case of async compute ...
If bandwidth was such a scarce commodity you'd have better luck experimenting with deferred texturing, deferred attribute interpolation, exploiting MSAA compression for render targets, GPU compute triangle filtering, delta colour compression for render targets/vertex buffers and texture compression all together than what tiling alone can give you ...
AAA console developers don't want to deal a whole lot with the AMD vs Nvidia specifics in terms of optimizations either so some of the stuff that they automatically do on home consoles could really hurt the NX's performance if it was housing an Nvidia GPU which would only lower it's chances of getting ports ...
