READ OP!

I know some of you won't e.e

What I mean is some of the minor things and nitpicks that happen in gaming. Whether they be graphical or cliches or whatever.

For me, it's clipping... it bothers me and completely takes me out of the immersion x.x it's minor but still bothers me occasionally

Boobs cause games don't show enough of them

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Randomly getting disconnected from a MP game when your internet is working fine.

Pause any time, save any time. As long as it's not live multiplayer I should be able to pause or quit at any moment, even in the middle of a cut scene or boss fight. The "progress will be lost" message is my biggest nitpick.

Auto load of last save game then pause until I'm ready to hit start. I should be able to turn the console on and set it to auto load the inserted game, walk away to get a drink and have it ready when it get back. Not waiting for me to load a save game or already having killed me by not waiting at all.

Invisible walls can get very annoying.

The lack of Dark Cloud 3 in my life is killing me.

No cutscene should be unskippable, ever. And no cutscene should be skippable by a single button press, ever. Fortunately it's a lot better these days than it used to be.

This 1,000%! Fucking hell, I've missed many important cutscenes because I accidentally pressed A or X or whatever x.x

I really don't understand why anyone would make either of those mistakes. Well, I guess I can sort of understand the first one, but I still don't agree with it. But the second one, it's a simple UI design decision, and it should be blatantly obvious to every game dev that people are going to make mistakes, and they're going to miss cutscenes they want to watch unless precautions are taken against it.

Clipping, screen tear, and noticeable sub-30 frame dips all bug me. But my biggest annoyance might be with patches. Game installs within seconds! But then you gotta wait for a roughly 1 GB patch to download & install to play the game proper. You can't just bring a handful of games to a friend's house any longer, cuz each game not only eats up 40 GB of HDD, but each one requires downloading a huge patch too.

For many reasons I really wish consoles had never interbred with PC...
