Forums - Gaming Discussion - Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience (PS4/XBO/PC) launches October 11 in North America, October 13 in Europe

Slapping two games together somehow counts as "the definitive experience" these days, nothing extra added or anything, but this is Konami and we know how they like to milk their IP's for what it's worth.

You know what would make it definitive?, like completing Chapter 3 and tossing in all the other content that was ripped out along with tossing out the whole MB coins crap and buying "insurance" that has an expiry date.

"You destroyed their anti-air radar?".......I mean you're going to spend money on this crap? Christ sakes it's like smashing a pretty nice vase into 1000 pieces, sweeping it all up and duct taping together. Ta-Dah!

MGS V is the worst game of the series. I played half through the game and stopped as it gets boring and repetitive.

Open world is not a good fit for MGS series, go back to roots.

Also, it's been a while since I saw a boxart this busy. I like the style but I really, really hate the composition. There's just so much going on.

I really dislike critic "10 out of 10" on box art as well as feature lists.  Removing that info from the top left would allow some empty space it needs.

Sell the demo for half a full game price.
Sell the game incomplete for full price.
Bundle the two, and sell if again. For full price.

Just die Konami.

Hey now, this isn't full price. Only almost!

Yeah, that's pretty bad too... But even ignoring it, the boxart it terribly busy. There's way too many people and objects, and they're all inside each other. I really don't get why anyone thinks stuffing everything inside everything looks good. It probably has its uses, but often it makes things look busy and a bit silly. And rotating the logo? It's OK, I suppose, but there would be space for it to be there normally if the 10/10 thing wasn't there, and I think it'd look better.
