On any console/handheld when someone tries to add you as a friend do you accept it or ignore it?

Usually i look through their profile and if we have a few of the same games and the person doesnt have a bad reputation i accept it.

I mostly ignore cause I dont like spammers

Well on Xbox One you don't really get requests anymore, people just follow you. Fucking stalkers.
Unless I've just played with them, and they're decent, or I know them from elsewhere I just ignore them.

But you get a notifications if someone adds you and when you see it you can friend them back so its sorta the same thing.

I accept them but usually don't interact with them.

Not really. People can have me on their friends list now without me ever even once acknowledging them. It's not asking to be friends, it's like twitter followers or something.

But when you click on someone's profile you hqve the option to add friend or follow them and if you pick to add friend the person would get a notification. 

Actually nevermind i just checked and it says friend or favorite not friend or follow. 

They add me but they just show up as a follower, which doesn't bother me. (this is referring to Xbox)

On PS I add them, seems people on CoD like to add me.

Social media I don't add randoms.
