Forums - Gaming Discussion - Greg Miller - 'No Man's Sky continues to meet all of my expectations'

Greg Miller adds in his few pennies worth about NMS via twitter.

.@NoMansSky continues to meet all of my expectations. Chill game that I love to explore. Pairs well with podcasts.

Thank you, @hellogames.

It's the same here. I just finished another session and after I've been typing for a while I'll get the urge to play it again. It's a great game but you have to be of the right mindset to appreciate it. That's not to suggest a 'superior' mindset before anyone reinterprets that in the time honoured fashion. It's just a 'different' mindset. This game is just going to grow and grow, and in a way it's actually a good thing that those who just jumped on board because of 'imagined' hype have now removed themselves from the NMS community. There's a solid and determined fanbase now who are combing the game for clues and 'exploring' ... the very reason this game exists.

Well it is Greg Miller and people do have different opinions so... Not very surprising

I really like the game too.

However, some of the things about it are maybe starting to get a bit old to me. I mean, I'm still enjoying it, but I feel like it could definitely use some more content and features. I hope that does come in the future.

Certainly it needs regular refreshes and we know at least one or two are in the works. They've been concentrating on improving the game's performance and reducing crashes (touch wood I haven't had one yet). I'm liking the improved graphics, denser foliage and sharper image though. I had a 'bounty' today and I'm not sure if that's new. Is it? I had to chase down some pirates with 3 stars and they were harder to beat than normal. I'm assuming those stars can increase or decrease depending on how easy or hard they are.

I liked the game. I just don't find any replay value in it now that I got all trophies and reached the center.
I also think the dissapointment on the graphics and misleading trailers are very well justified so saying "it relaxes me so all its cool and well" its not a proper stance for a critic.

Does this really add anything? I don't get your point?

It met my expectations, too. Unfortunately, that's what kept me from ever buying it.

It adds as much as this thread does since I don't get the point of this thread either...
