Blame ioi for that. It took him 8 months to put Machina in charge of the SW numbers and even then Machina has to wait for Brett to fix some bugs that appear. Also, let's not even mention that ioi is still in charge of the HW numbers and they get updated monthly now.

I just feel really bad for that 1 guy in Japan in the week ending the 20th of August on the bottom of the HW chartz. I mean... he made a mistake we all know it, but now it has been over a month with us all looking at his mistake. Poor guy. Much Dishonor!

What bothers me is that when forum contributors post news articles from other sites in to these forums, the same sources are posted in the news article of this site within the same day. Is the staff leeching off of forum supports for new articles, or is this a coincidence?

Also, leave my avys alone. The moderation of avatars is quite daft as evidently shown in a previous thread I started that got locked probably due to suppression of discussion:

The sales discussion has improved, because even though we may have delays, we now actually have Machina doing things even though Brett can't be bothered. Aquamarine and ZhugeEX being around through the last 12 Months has improved sales discussion here by a lot, and members have been as active as ever in sales discussion thanks to good quality and hard work from users put into threads like COMG, the Amazon discussion, NPD, MC/Famitsu and of course our very rare VGC numbers threads.

TruckOSaurus is working on general site improvements all the time, with a new site update currently in the works. The introduction of the Supporter Program has long been needed and is IMO a great improvement for the site, for someone who spends a lot of time browsing on mobile.

The reviews posted on the site are better than ever, and are actually receiving more recognition now (They're on OpenCritic!)

I think these select few things that happened through the last 12 Months make for a better site.

I'm more or less a lurker nowadays so obviously I can't share my opinion hahaha.

Since it lost the N4G Module+ changes the site has been downhill.

Don't think that Smeags will come back for it but I do believe it will still be a thing (hopefully anyway). So, up to you to evaluate how that will fit into your quality spectrum!

If it doesn't live up to how good Smeags' ones were then poorly

And if it doesn't even happen... very very poorly

Ha, fair enough. It'll be a tough act to follow but I've confidence that someone will pick up and do just as good a job!

N4G had nothing to do with the decline, that started way before N4G articles stopped appearing on the frontpage and users here didn't notice when those articles disappeared.
