"He specified that currently the game runs with dynamic resolution on both PS4 and Xbox One. The version on Sony’s console runs between 900p and 1080p, while being close to holding the 30 FPS target. The Xbox One version runs between 765p and 900p and even here frame rate is close to 30 FPS."

Being close to 30 FPS is not reassuring that it will be steady at 30.

Looking forward to either 1080/60 or 1440/30 on Neo. Game will still be great on PS4 and XBO for those that are stickng with the OG equipment or upgrading to the PS4 2000 or XBOS this holiday.

I wonder if the game will benefit from the S model. Maybe the resolution sticks around 900p more often than not? Either way I got the Xbox One S for FFXV so I'm looking forward to it.

For the PS4 version, he says it is close to holding 30fps. He doesn't say the framerate is close to 30fps. It is close to hold it. Meaning it is 30fps, but there are dips. The game doesn't hold that framerate at all time.
