Forums - Sony Discussion - Vita's release schedule is INSANE for Sept./Oct.

Seriously, it's ridiculous. I don't understand how we keep getting so many games here considering Vita's current situation in North America.  Here's what it looks like just for retail games (Plus DQB due to Asian English release).

September:

  • (6th) The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II
  • (9th) Dragon Fantasy The Black Tome of Ice
  • (13th) Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness
  • (13th) MeiQ: Labryinth of Death
  • (16th) Mystery Chronicle One Way Heroics
  • (20th) Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni
  • (20th) Criminal Girls 2 Party Favors
  • (27th) Shantae Risky Beats Edition
  • (27th) Steins;Gate 0
October:
  • (11th) Dragon Quest Builders
  • (18th) Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky
  • (18th) Superdimension Neptune VS. Sega Hards Girls
  • (25th) Yomawari: Night Alone
  • (25th) World of Final Fantasy
  • (28th) Root Letter
As someone who is trying to get a full NA set of Vita games my wallet is trembling in fear.

That's surprising.

It really is great. I already know I will be getting Steins;Gate 0 and Dragon Quest Builders day one and there are a few others I'm considering getting. I really don't understand the notion that the Vita has no games.

Vita has a massive library of games that appeals to a small subset for gamers. For most people, its library is pretty horrible, but for that small subset, it is absolutely amazing.

Thanks for making this thread. I have only 2 of these games pre-ordered. Will have to add a few more to the list.

I'm very interested in Dragon Quest Builders and World of Final Fantasy. Don't really know about the others.

But I do think 2016 has been a good year for Vita, despite Sony walking away from it. Severed was amazing, and Shiren the Wanderer, although a DS port, is great too.

90% of those games are terrible / ultra niche.

Have you played the first Trails of Cold Steel? The second one is my most anticipated game for the rest of the year. If you're into JRPGs it's worth giving those two a shot.
