I dunno, I consider 720p to be pretty piss poor in this gen of gaming, esp for 30fps locks. 

It's not so much as defending him but really just pointing out that we have different standards, I just happen to share some of Vivsters.

OT: Sounds good. This game might disappoint fans hoping for a game similar to classic FF games but at least the game seems to work as a standalone experience. Of course final reviews will tell a better story than a controlled demo but for now FF XV gets a little positive PR for a change.

Good, i hope those 90% werent to casual. I would like to have some challenge in this game. Especially at the beginning of the game. FF games were always hard at start. So you had to gear up with potions and such. Sometimes even powerlevel your characters. Good times back then. FF12&13 got too automatic and boring. On several occasions i literally fell asleep while playing those.

Just preordered, and waiting to watch Kingsglaive tonight. I hope my desire for a good single player FF isn't clouding my judgement, but what I've played thus far has me sold.

I'm positive about a lot of things but those arent talked about because they aren't popular. Not my fault that mainstream taste is apparently mostly shit.

The only mainstream FF opinion I can get behind is that FFIX is great. Then again it's usually mentioned after the god awful numbers 6 and 7. If the same people who love the boring FFs also love this one, why should I not be skeptical?

Not that I need their opinions, since looking at the cast and combat system it's easily apparent how bad it's gonna be.

So anything popular or generally liked is horrible?
