Season passes were made for the sole purpose to make money. Nothing about season passes is beneficial to customers, so I'm wondering where you get the weird idea that anything about it was "for" the consumer.

And I continue to not give a crap about pricing models for games. It seems the simple concept of not buying things if they don't like it is too much for some people. But I guess now that NMS is gone people need something new to bitch about.

Only containing content within a specific time span is literally the purpose of a "season" pass. That's why it's not called "life time" pass.

i was thinking the same thing. Just like when sports fans purchace a season ticket for their favourite team, it only last for a year and wont even get you to every game as cup games wont be included.

i guess publishers have a timespan on what they class as a seaon in a game, maybe around a year also. But anyway just as somebody else stated, if you dont like or agree with the idea then you arnt forced into doing it anyway.
