720p for a 6.2" screen should be sufficient.

Hopefully the retail version would be much smaller. 6.2" is far too big for a handheld, Vita is about as large as a handheld should be.

There are plenty of 8 inch tablets, those are still handheld devices.

I dont see why 6.2" is too big, Id actually like to see them go bigger if they are doing a tablet like device.

With a Tegra X2, and Nintendo should have no equal in the handheld gameing space.

If nintendo goes too gimpy or small, they risk people going "this isnt that much differnt than gameing on my smart phone".

They need it to be a step up compaired to the smart phones. Bigger screen is one way of doing that.

You most likely wont be able to put your NX in your pocket either.

Which is fine, its bigger than a normal handheld, because its also a hybrid home console.

The upside is it ll be one hellva strong handheld.

That's not ok... I don't want to have to carry around a handheld console in a bag. Jesus. If that's the case it basically just becomes a WiiU for me, because I'm not taking anything that large out with me.

If you need to carry it around in a bag it's not a fine size, it's not like a 6.2" phone, it has the screen and then it has buttons as well. The Vita is only 5" and barely fits in my pocket.

IF the console isn't portable enough then as a hybrid it loses all value for me, may as well just make it a homeconsole only.

Kids going to school have backpacks to carry them around in.

Grown ups going to work on public commutes (train and busses), carry brief cases to carry them in.

Thats probably the way nintendo see's it.

Theres plenty of tablets that are so big you cant carry them in pockets and they sell well.

As time goes by, smart phones have gotten bigger and bigger screens, so have tablets.

Just google Mother 3 english fan patch, instead of waiting this long.

I mean its been over 10 years already.. fan patch is probably equal or better to the translation effort nintendo would do.
