Nintendo took too long to do what? The console is not going to be released until next year no matter what...

The idea of a portable with detachable sounds like a recipe for disaster. Its one thing to include a seperate controller for when you are playing on a TV but for the device to come a part it reeks of something that isn't built to be really portable a la the virtual boy and sounds like heading down the same hole they wandered into with the Wii U.

That being being said it has to have a touch screen if only for Miiverse drawings.

It's a gaming tablet. It's not terribly complicated concept.

It happens. This is how I bought my first non-Nintendo system ever, in 1996 when they announced the N64 had been delayed again ... after waiting for the SNES CD-ROM for years and then that tured into wait for the Project: Reality (aka: Ultra 64, Nintendo 64), I was so pissed off that I went to the store and bought a Playstation with WipeOut and Resident Evil (just came out that week!). 

Enjoy your XBox One S, there's some pretty awesome games on it. I still buy every Nintendo system, but I've learned to enjoy Sony and MS gaming devices, I would've lost my gaming sanity a long time ago if I pinned all my hopes on Nintendo. 

Any one complaint about not 1080p, should think first, show me a smartphone game have Wii U graphic run at 1080p/30fps and last at least 4 hours with max setting

There's never been a portable that can display graphics like the NX will be able to. You're going to want that extra screen real estate, it would be a waste to have it confined to a rinky dink little 5 inch display. 

Beyond that a Tegra X1/X2 would melt a little handheld casing in an hour. There needs to be some casing space to dissipate heat and house a larger battery. 

And a 6.2 inch screen is perfectly sized when held vertically for 3DS Virtual Handheld (the 16:9 top 3DS screen fits exactly perfectly at that size). 

This was always going to have to be tablet size. A Tegra X2 bends the Vita chip over and makes it say daddy, a chip that powerful needs some leg room to stretch its legs.

stop taking anything this girl says so seriously, she always puts out vague information. She has no magical inside connection and is not anyone of any important. The only times her predictions have been correct have been cases in which tons of other people had already suggested or predicted the exact same thing

as in she never NEVER gives any valuable leaks that end up real. SHe has been wrong before and I would take what she has said about the NX controller with a total grain of salt.

The Paper Mario thing was discussed far before she brough it up for example
