Forums - Nintendo Discussion - I'm not buying Zelda Breath of the Wild to teach Nintendo a lesson on delaying games.

I will buy 7.

3 Wii U and 4 NX.

1 Limited and 2 Normal Wii U one each to collect one to play.
1 Limited and 3 Normal NX one each to collect, one to play an done to make up for your lost sale!

I dont get this.

Boycott Starfox zero, because they chose to double render at 60fps and gimped gameplay and graphics to do so.
Boycott the new Paper Mario, because its not a RPG like TTYD, okay that makes sense to me.
Boycott Metroid : Federation Force, because its not the Metroid game you want, okay.
Boycott Animal Crossing, because its a party board game... sure makes sense.

Why would you boycott a "real" Zelda, that looks to be fantastic? just because it took them some extra time to make sure it was near perfect?

That just doesnt make sense to me.

To me the reason to boycott games is they made bad choices in their development, or strayed to far from what the games are supposed to be.

the entitlement is very strong, do with your money what you want, who cares honestly, but change your aggressive tone, that´s just cringy and attention seeking.

The irony is that you got a Sony system, Sony who made a whole gen delay from early PS3 to PS4 in regards to The Last Guardian, and several delays for games like Horizon and Gravity Rush 2. lol

I'm really, really tempted to get a supported badge just for the ignore feature now. You promised to stop trolling or whatever you said you wear doing a few months ago, didn't you, Nintation360? There's no way I could take this seriously. It's just not possible to rant about a small delay like that.

You do know that BotW got delayed to 2017 so that it can bea NX launch title, right? Also, I bet the game wouldn't have been the same without the first delay.

Actually, they didn't say that it would be a launch title. They merely said that it would be releasing at the same time for the Wii U and NX, and that it would release in 2017.

I pre-ordered the game on Amazon immediately when the 20% discount on pre-orders was announced. This was before the E3 reveal trailer too lol

A mild overreaction.

A solution though would be to stop putting out the release date until they are closer to release.
But everybody wants to know when, and I think people would go crazier with "under development" after each trailer for years.

"When is it coming!? Why don't we get a date!?!? IM GOING CRAZY!!!" .. well, you get my point

But honestly its a issue that nintendo dont time these releases closer to when their consoles launches.

Its almost like with Microsoft and Halo.

That one game carries the Xbox Brand.

Nintendo need a new 3D mario & Zelda game for every console, those are the reason many many people buy one of their consoles.

I can understand someone being upset, they bought a console expecting a zelda game, and had to wait 2 years extra on it.

I have no doubt you will buy it. When the reviews come in and the hype really starts and people keep talking about how much they love it, you will be in line to buy it.

Shrugs. That's your right as a consumer, no one is forcing you to buy anything.
