Very well said. If the crappy Sonic 25th stream went on for hours to just announce 2 games, one of which was playable then Nintendo should have no less than 2 hours of coverage for the direct. It's a new hardware reveal, a ton of new titles, they can't afford to leave the fans underwhelmed.

All this waiting is killing me... That NX reveal can't come soon enough!

The how it'll be revealed is speculation, though the when is repeating the Eurogamer leak. But yeah, nothing new to see here.

3 months is not enough to hype a console and games, they need to show the system before christmas. btw it's not against the their blue ocean strategy, that supports the blue ocean strategy because they are going to announce a different kind of system. People that are hyped by slim or neo already know what they can expect, a cheap ps4 and a better ps4, we don't know anything concrete about the nx because it's a new system.

Nintendo took too long. I gave up and bought a X1 S from Newegg. If they had a reveal already I probably would have held off on it, but the wait took forever. I finally gave up.

It may not be directly going against the red ocean of console vs console, but they risk losing all hype momentum if what is shown at the Tokyo game show by the other two companies steals NX's thunder. It's a VERY dangerous game they are playing.
