Forums - PC Discussion - Confirmed: PS NOW service for PC In EU Regions

confirmed: https://blog.eu.playstation.com/2016/08/22/introducing-the-dualshock-4-usb-wireless-adaptor/ thanks Barkley

original thread:

"It looks very much like PS Now, the streaming game service that offers PS3 games on the PS4 for a monthly subscription fee, is coming to the PC. It happened in a strange way: The alt text on several images in yesterday's “How PlayStation VR Worlds was brought to life with extraordinary art” post on the EU PlayStation Blog is, “PS Now on PC Announce Post by PlayStation Blog Europe, on Flickr.” Yup, that seems pretty clear-cut.

PS Now is built on the Gaikai streaming technology, and currently offers a selection of hundreds of PS3 games—the full list is here—for $20 per month, or $45 for three months. Moving to the PC means that we'll very suddenly have access to games that were previously exclusive to the Sony platform, including The Last of Us, The Unfinished Swan, Uncharted, Flow, and a pile of others, albeit streaming, not as full ports.

Sony hasn't commented on the leak yet, but it looks like the alt text has now been changed. For now, the news is unconfirmed, but we'll keep an eye on things and let you know what happens."

Meh... I am not a fan of streaming games so I will skip... Least everything seems to becoming playable on PC so this will be good news if true for those who havn't played them.

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

It's a pretty good service, I have a problem though.... I can't bare to play PS3 games anymore.... There's just something about it... Probably this generation is practically the same as last generation except everything doesn't run like trash anymore.

Until they put games from other formats on I don't see myself using it again, hell I can't even find time to play all the games on one system atm...

But regardless it's good news, I'm hoping it comes to Android/IOS also. There are some improvements to be made but with the right connection it'll be just like you're playing it on a ps3.

Wrong. PlayStation platform can be accessed in PC. There is a big difference.

as far as paid streaming services go, the more devices and people you can reach the better. It will sell PS4's also because people will want to play the new entries to some of the series too.

Could happen, or not.Hard to say at this point.But I personally think this wont be a success.Not a big one at keast.I mean, you pay 20 dollars to rent games.Its too expensive.And befire somone says that you can play as many as you want, you need to be realistic.Taking away the games that you can vomplete in 4,5 hours, you usually take weeks to finish a game, since gaming is not the only thing you do in life.And for that price, I think its way too expensive.Or are there other payment methods, cheaper ones that still make it viable to finish the game on the time given?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

if the performance is better than on my ps4 and I can use my current account then it's lovely for me. My internet connection is really good but for some reason the resolution always drops!

The Last of Us and Uncharted = Every GAMER, play this masterpieces !!!!!

The Last of US 2 on PS4 later, cant wait : )

Are you playing over Wifi on ps4? It has a pretty terrible Wifi Chip in it...
