I don't think sony even needs to. especially if they can come in at $250. anything higher than a game wouldn't hurt. 

On another note, I think Sony is in a position where they can put in 2 games with every console no matter what price they come in. A digital download coupon will cost them nothing. Make a bundle with bloodborne and driveclub for adults and a family bundle with driveclub and ratchet. 

I doubt they would do that though. 

Less features while MS packs in more and Sony also rising the price of PS+......
All while Xbox has a killer lineup for Christmas with the biggest IP in console history: gears having a full new entry.

What will happen is Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty will get bundles, perhaps an Uncharted 4 and/or Gran Turismo Sport bundle will happen as well. It would be great if Ratchet & Clank got a bundle cus the game is beast

The more time goes by the more I believe the $250 hopes, though it could just as well launch at $300. Odds of launching at $200 are minuscule, though; just no need when $250 already heartily beats the competition. That said, whatever it launches at we could still get a temporary Black Friday $50 price cut, so you might be able to get it at that price this year if you time it right and the stars align.
