I dunno, what are brown, yellow or black people supposed to feel about their race? What makes whites so special they alone deserve a mention by you?

Well, let's just hope we can survive within 2-3 generations.

White people are a race the same way black people are a race.

They're not really races just classifications. I think it just makes it simpler for people. It's better classification for people in a biological sense aswell, Slavics, Whites and Arabs are all 'Caucasian Race' but that doesn't really help when outlining the differences for classification purposes.

Yeah I was going to add the "if we don't blow ourselves up with nuclear weapons or cause some kind of environmental calamaty first". 

I think (hope) in 2-3 generations the first humans will leave Earth to begin colonizing other planets, and I think being removed from the Earth and being isolated in outer space will force our species to finally kick the racism habit for good. It just will be too stupid by that point to continue to cling to differences as miniscule as skin pigment variance when you are a million miles away from Earth. 

Except blacks are a race, because they have differences between the rest.  You can't put people of the middle east and north africa into a different race than europeans, because they're genetically very similar. Their facial features and skull shapes are more comparitive too Europeans than they're too Asians or Blacks. Skin colour also is an issue, because many Europeans have different skin colours. Some can be as light as paper, while some can be quite dark. Similar thing with the middle east, only a bit darker on average.  But this is becoming an argument on biology, so I can assume we're OT now. 

Don't feel as a race but as an individual, I don't see why you should feel bad for the mistake of others. gg

Technically if you're a human being your genetic origin traces back to Africa, that's where all our bloodlines trace back to, the DNA doesn't lie.

There isn't even a great deal of genetic variance between us, other species like birds and even dogs have far more variance. We're far more alike than many species. We have basically three primary different shades of skin pigment, two different hair types, and some variance in features like the eyes/nose primarily, and that's about it.  

Even subgroups of species like say pigeons have more variance physically than we do. 

Guess you have to go back to biology class...

Just on the genetic origin, Europeans have a lot of inherintance from the Neanderthal.

I see no reason why I should be ashamed to be white. The negative things that white people have done in the past have been done by other races also, and seems to me that white people were more successful than others so have to take all the blame.


Frankly, I believe a lot of the negative feelings non-whites have for white people in modern times comes from a position of jealousy and bitterness at how incredibly successful white nations have been in the last 1000 years or so compared to everywhere else. White nations treat non-whites better than any non-white country treats whites and still get labelled most racist. It is ridiculous, quite frankly

The idea that white people should feel the same for their own race as any other race, it being pride or indifference, is something I can get behind.

I singled out white people here because I haven't seen a discussion about how white people should feel about themselves in society, against other races who openly express pride and union for their own.
