I get that opinions exist and all that, and clearly I like Playstation so I'm generally more positive about Playstation related things, but this console is so damn good looking, and I've always thought since the initial, original PS4 reveal that the original PS4 design looked sexy as fuck as well, so I really would like to understand what's going through people's heads when they say this console looks "ugly"

and yes, there are quite a lot if people saying it looks ugly

the initial pictures made it look ugly. but the more i see of it the more the console desgin is growing on me.

This is also why Marketing guys are probably not happy about this leak. When they take professional shots, they can make it look much better than some random guy on the internet takeing crappy pics of it.

It looks much better in the youtube video of it, than those first pictures we saw.

Im sure sony has some photographers that could show this thing of even better.

Ah well, this just shows us exactly why we need PR teams. If proper videos and pics were taken of it everyone would have thought it looked good. Everything can look bad if not shown right. Hell even human beings have a "better side".

It's not as premium looking as the original, but I like it. it looks as good as it should look for what it is. And it has an extremely understaffed minimalist design with lots of nice little touches.

Mark my words, this design will grow on people.
