In my opinion just going by looks:

Xbox One Slim > normal PS4 > PS4 Slim > normal Xbox One.

Its not as nice looking as the "fat" PS4.
But its not bad looking by any means.

Positions do not compute. ogOne and One S look pretty much identical. Size is the only change. So if you are just looking at a picture of either console without something to compare the relative size they look the same.

OT, to me the less my gaming console looks like a gaming console the better, and PS4S looks less like a gaming console than pretty much any gaming console ever made. So that's a plus.

Still only really interested in a possible Neo upgrade. No point in spending money on getting more or less exactly the same performing product, but at a possibly lower power consumption.

Well the slim consoles have always looked "budget".

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

It looks kind of cheap, but we're more or less expecting this to have an MSRP of $299.

it's possible that the low quality "spy" photos don't do the actual product justice, but we'll see.

The $599 PS3 looked and felt (heavy) a lot more expensive than the matte finish "slim" which in turn looked and felt more substantial than the final PS3 "slimmer" that quite frankly, felt like a cheap toy, sliding plastic door and all.

Personally, I thought the original PS4 looked (I should say felt) a little bit cheap, but that was a concession for a $399 console even though I did like the drastic angles of the form and the shiny HDD cover tray that contrasted with the matte finish of the rest of the unit. Functionally, it was relatively small and light although the angle on the rear makes it harder to plug in cables by feel and unnecessarily extends the depth of the case.

The new one looks like it will be a bit more practical in form in addition to being smaller and lighter.

Are those color options confirmed, or is that just someone having fun with photo editing? I kind of like the white and I usually prefer consoles in black.

Yeah its definitely the ugliest console I've seen in awhile.

Its still better looking than the original Xbox One.

I wouldnt say the Wii U is better looking either.

Almost everything looks better than the original Xbox One. That said, it's hard to find anything looking better than the Xbox One S.

Ehm, what?! No Sir, definitely not.

Looks ok to me, I wish they had kept the LED of the old design, they could've put in on the disc tray like the Wii, It would've looked cool.

To me, this looks like a way to give some sales to Microsoft...right now the xbox one s looks better then the ps4 slim. Sony is looking to save money. But this is gonna hurt them in the long run.

PS4 is still outselling the XBox One 2:1 WW without a pricecut, then I see no way that introducing a smaller, slimmer and cheaper PS4 would make people buy an Xbox One because it looks better.

I fully expect sales of the PS4 to go up especially if Sony can get the PS4 Slim price to under $299.

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)
