"Shin’en Multimedia recently took part in an interview with Nintendon.com, where they were asked what they would like to do after they finished with FAST Racing Neo. They said that “the problem is I can’t talk about it. I’d really like to talk about it, but if I say anything…. let me put it this way: we’re very happy to work with Nintendo, we’ll keep doing it and our next project will be with them. We’re also carrying out new experiments and creating new prototypes, but I can’t talk about this either, because they’re so deep in their initial stage that there would be no point talking about it now."

              I personally can't wait to see what they could pull off on the NX. They once said that they would like to work on a Wave Race game, Nintendo should definitely let them do it. It would be much better than just keeping the IP dead.

After the (I suppose) strong sales of Neo Racing, its no wonder that they want to do that.That is great news for Nintendo and their consumers to have a strong indie developer under their belt.

Shin´en actually has a pretty good catalog of games ! Fast Racing Neo, Nano Assault, Jett Rocket, Art of Balance, Fun Fun Minigolf.... all of them are pretty enjoyable.
After FRN, I´m sure they are up to bigger projects. I´m curious about what they may have in mind. Hope they get more attention and recognition in a near future.

Please Nintendo, this can be your first european team after Rare ! buy them and make them work on F-Zero, they have proven to be skillful developers

If nintendo lent them a few programmers, and a the F-zero IP, along with a bag of money.....

Id trust them to do a decent F-zero game.

If Wave Race was to come to NX, I would bite day one. 

A peculiar response indeed, it sounds like they were directly hired by Nintendo for NX.

I never played F-zero or like racers, but since others above do, i wil jump on the F-zero wagon :).

Hey, if Nintendo is not going to do anything with it, why not letting Shin'en try it? They already proved their games are great, and with Nintendo's assistance they could pull it off. Plus, that would make every indie dev in the world want to put their games on Nintendo consoles, just by the hope of using one of their properties.
