Forums - Gaming Discussion - Thinking about buying an Xbox One S

I think the xbox one S seriously increased in value if the rumours about no 4k or uhd on the ps4 slim are true but overall I would deffenitely wait a little bit, some good deals will come following the 7 september unviels of the new sony hardware for sure.

you don't seem to know what or why you like one or the other, so I suggest you buy and ipad and play the games on that.

It is near the end of the end....

Save some money  to build a $600 pc, here's the info https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3F5CGqqA_I you will have xbox content, more power and lot more (Steam) you can use a xbox controller if you want. Also, you could wait for the NX.

I'd give anyone this advice, but for unknown reasons to myself, I buy my Multiplatform games on PS4. Even though my PC is more powerful and I can't really explain why. Some people just prefer playing on console sometimes.

yeah I understand, I prefer the console experience but performance  is more important to me that's why I have a pc and thanks to big picture mode and other applications I can emulate a console setup. Xbox one s is good too, this is just another option :)

Well to answer your question. My PS4 is for mostly everything, and PC is for MMOs, and for Star Citizen (whenever it comes out). Xbox games is coming over to PC too.

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

Go for it. Like Nintendo, MS games are really ground on gameplay values.
They also are betting more and more on SP games if that's your thing instead of MP games.
It is a 4K streamer and has HDR features for games which is highly praised.
Also, not all MS games are going to PC contrary to what's being said here.

Go for it. It seems to me you don't own a gaming PC, or else you would have mentioned it I think. The Xbox one S is some seriously good value with what it has to offer. There are plenty of awesome exclusives on the system now, and a bunch of great console exclusives on the horizon.
