I'm thinking about buying an Xbox One S, til next Holiday (2017) where I'll be able to trade in my Xbox for a heavy discount on the Scorpio. Certain exclusives interest me and I heard good things about the S. Heck there even sold out around my area. I currently own a PS4 but most of its exclusives haven't been interesting me lately. Uncharted 4 was meh, the Order was a got damn grey fest, I dodge a bullet with No Man's Sky, and not looking forward to the next God of War. I'm sorta over games trying to give me an "experience" instead of proper good old fanshion polish gameplay. Unfortually the NX won't be announce til this fall and I know games on the Xbox haven't been all intenesting me either, but last E3, I felt Xbox is slowly changing things up....I lost my train of thoughts.

Ok. Thats good. If the games on the PS4 don't interest you and you feel you are better off with an XB1 whose games strangely enough also dont interest you then i say go for it!!!

And to answer your other question. I'm gonna say PS4. But I'll advice you dont take my answer seriously as that is the only console I have and only place I play games on. So I'm probably very biased.

If Xbox games don't overly interest you either, I would suggest at least waiting till the NX reveal.

You could also see the Scorpio since that should be coming out in 2017 too. Xbox certainly isn't a bad buy if you have little interest on ps4 exclusives.

I like PC cause apart from the reasons that have been done to death, it is also getting xbox exclusives as well as ps4 console exclusives. We also have a refund system for those eh worthy ports and 60fps + awesome visuals for the rest. Plus my old arse PC setup with 970 lasted me this long and probably even longer so... Its why I love PC gaming. And we do get exclusives of course, just not to the taste of console gamers.

I've seen you about and you come across more as a Nintendo guy. Maybe wait to see what the NX has to offer.

Exclusives brought me to PS4. The games that have come out (Bloodborne, Uncharted, Driveclub, Until Dawn etc) Have been great. And I'm looking forward to the future very much (GT, VR, God of War, TLG, Spiderman etc). But multiplats take up most of my gaming time. 

Although you may not really want to take my opinion for it as I do have a capable Gaming PC, and any XB games I think look cool I'd play on my PC.

Sony has JRPGs....

That said Nintendo.

I really hope NX knocks it out the ballpark.

Xbox has the least intresting exclusives in my opinion.

I'd give anyone this advice, but for unknown reasons to myself, I buy my Multiplatform games on PS4. Even though my PC is more powerful and I can't really explain why. Some people just prefer playing on console sometimes.
