No. If anything it's from a competitive point of view that it's especially crap.

Prankster+Swagger+Thunder Wave+Foul Play. Fuck that. No one deserves to suffer through it.

Which is exactly why I started using a Magneton just to counter that little bastard (and Scizor and Ferrothorn).

*Opponents Klefki comes out*

*I switch into Magneton*

*Opponent spends a minute trying to switch, but he/she can't because of Magnet Pull*

*Magneton beats the crap out of that Klefki, one Pokemon down*

Am I the only one who is perfectly happy with the original 150?

Yes.

I find the original 150 (or 151 with Mew) to be pretty boring actually. Gens 3/4 = best Pokemon designs!

Must be nostalgia talking then. Heh.
I find as the Pokemon count increases every generation I tend to care less about trying to recognize them all, probably partly why I have enjoyed Pokemon Go so much.

Nah, the original gen 1 pokemon are pretty great too. I like gen 2 too, and some of the later gens are pretty good, but gen 3 was definitely a weird one...

I don't think all inanimate object pokemon are bad. I just think some of them are pretty lame and unoriginal. I don't find pokemon who are like my car keys or something everyday and edible like ice cream to be interesting. Same with a garbage bag.

Ghost sandcastles though, I'm really fond of xD

I know this is where the name is derived from, but the docept of Pokemon being 'poket monster' is itself absurb. Try fitting something like a Snorlax or a Wailord in your pocket.

For me a least, Pokemon work best as animals as it then allows for a recreation of the environment eithin the game world. I dont hate all non-animal Pokemon. I actually like the sandcastle ones as I feel the concept works (although I had to come around to it).

The ones I dislike tend to be the weird concepts that make little sense. For example, Mr Mime and Vanilite are bad concepts in my opinion. Klefki is similar as I dont get the concept.

I know a lot of people hate klefki but let's not forget who is the worse steel pokemon ever:
